Did this at Thanksgiving 2017 (while giving the kids a painting clinic) ... wanted to experiment a little with this pen outlining technique. Kind of liked the result (this was with poor quality paints and on inferior 20 lb bond).

resolutions ...

In my case, for drawing/painting, the rule of 10,000 hrs hasn't quite been achieved. And I've recently concluded that this pretty much explains my floating around in the zone of artistic mediocrity.  Doing some research today about how others apply the discipline of painting and achieve a daily or multiple times per week pattern, it occurred that using a blog would provide a place to publish snaps of my work and might keep me a bit more diligent on this 'practice' thing.

So here's something from today (and recent days) for a start.
